Robert Gillmor Royal Mail

Here we have Robert’s 46 linocuts commissioned by the Royal Mail for their Post and Go Stamps. Born in Reading in 1936, Robert moved to Cley in 1998 to be near his beloved reserve. In the last 12 years Robert has produced 33 Collins New Naturalist covers, 30 gallery editioned linocuts, 23 other book jackets and 46 stamp designs. He is a founder of the Society of Wildlife Artists, alongside Ennion and Scott etc. and has contributed to over 500 books and magazines. Not many people know Robert created the original drawing for the iconic RSPB logo, seen today by millions.
