Lawrence’s interests lie in the stillness and silence of the night. While most people are asleep in their beds, Lawrence – self-confessed night owl – is out making the most of what darkness can offer. He explains the importance of lighting a scene – whether it’s artificial, the moon or the hidden light only a camera can see. The challenge is harnessing this light, using it to sculpt shape and form.
